After spending time with family in a modern day farmhouse we built, these clients decided they needed a Highline home too… right across the street. Just as family members have their own unique styles, the differences in these homes are apparent too. And we like that. Part of what we enjoy most about designing and building is getting to connect with our clients to discover what lights them up. What will turn the house we build into the home they love?
This house was a collaboration between JWR Design (architecture), Highline Interiors (interior design), and Highline Construction (build). We worked together to help this couple achieve a space that will set the stage for memories that will span three generations. The kitchen, dining, and living area blend together in the center of the space, truly serving as the heart of the home with large glass doors that open to an expansive covered patio with built in heaters for year-round enjoyment. The kitchen island is a deserving focal point, not just for its grand size perfect for entertaining, but also for the slab’s uncommon leather finish, adding warmth and depth to the space.
Each guest room has its own bathroom, which offers contrast to the communal and open feel of the rest of the house, offering balance and giving guests privacy at the beginning and end of each day. The master bath takes luxury to new levels with a steam shower for a true home spa experience.
Sophistication meets family living in this show-stopper of a custom home. This is a place where every member of the family can unwind and soak in some together-time.
