We take pride in being a community-minded business and give back in a variety of ways:
Highline Founder and Owner Trevor Swezey got his start in business at the age of 15 when, with the help of his dad’s lawnmower, he started Lawn & Order. We created Youthpreneurs of NW WA to encourage young people to take the bold steps necessary to embark on an entrepreneurial path – hopefully building character and boosting our local economy along the way. It’s a long game and a way for us to make an impact that will last for generations. This program is in partnership with Brandon Nelson – Realtor and Kent’s Garden & Nursery and awards $9k to local youth annually.
It’s always a fun day at work when we get to partner with local organizations to share the joy of construction with our community. Whether it’s for a ribbon-cutting for the grand opening of a commercial project or visiting a local library preschool storytime with one of our excavators, we’re all about those magical moments of connection.
We typically do 1-2 service projects per year. These range from fully in-kind single build days to reduced-rate construction of select large-scale capital projects for non-profit organizations and are always rewarding.
To make room for the above priorities, we have mostly dissolved our former monthly giving and sponsorship programs. We are proud to have given to a wide range of community organizations, including those listed below.
