This Bellingham house received a full remodel including roofline, vaulted ceiling, Victorian kitchen, and outdoor kitchen remodel.
With a cultured stone exterior, granite countertops, and a large outdoor entertaining area, this house remodel is a nod to old world European style architecture. Highline Construction orchestrated the vaulted ceiling, installing all new windows & doors, remodeling the cultured stone fireplace, and engineering oiled floors.
This Victorian kitchen remodel highlights custom made cabinets, wood-paneled refrigerator doors, turned posts, a boxed in range hood, exposed beams, hone quartz, La Canche range, inset backsplash, and a knotty alder cabinets sanded finish. Each piece of cabinetry is custom-made in order to call on the classic look and feel of a Victorian kitchen.
The powder room is made unique with golden porcelain arabesque tile and subtle wallpaper. Bringing modern convenience to the old world interior design, there is a brand new automatic bidet toilet with electronic controls. Classic yet artistic light fixtures on the ceiling and above the mirror bring the room together.
The master bathroom features a free-standing soaking tub with knotty, alder, black, distressed, sand cast hardware. The walls and floors are porcelain tile with pebbles with a gold glass tile accent at chair rail.
Downstairs is the media/family room with a wet bar and custom fireplace grate, carrying the Victorian air from the kitchen and architectural quirks of the house. The barley twist newel posts match the wooden framework of the Victorian kitchen remodel.
The main feature of this Victorian remodel is the vaulted ceiling which continues to the roof of the extended patio and outdoor kitchen. The massive, characteristic structure sets this Bellingham house apart, creating a beautiful piece of statement architecture from another time. Please reach out if you are interested in vaulted ceiling construction, or other unique architectural touches to your new home.
