We were pleased to execute the build of the City of Mount Vernon Finance Department’s front desk remodel, designed by HKP Architects.

Thoughtful Architecture + Exquisite Craftsmanship

Steel framing enabled an elegant, curved wall that encourages an open flow to this public space. Previously a wall of glass, the new wall offers more privacy to residents coming to pay their bills as well as to the cashiers.  Contrasting materials add texture and a thoughtful, modern aesthetic upgrade. Two of the payment windows and custom-crafted workstations are at standing height, while one is lower to create a welcoming space that meets the needs of the entire community – a perfect fit for our amazing Skagit County neighbors!
