THE ROLE

  • Overseeing the production schedule, supporting project managers in navigating any changes and updating customers accordingly
  • Developing systems and processes that maximize project management and field staff efficiency without jeopardizing quality
  • Providing clarity on scope of work
  • Co-managing company sales
  • Visiting job sites to assess initial feasibility and thereafter as needed
  • Ensuring smooth communication between construction and design teams
  • Reviewing all pre-construction specifications and contracts produced by project managers
  • Reviewing estimates for both design build and build only projects as produced by project managers
  • Participating in planning to production handoff meetings
  • Creating improvements and updates to field staff safety programs
  • Running bi-weekly meetings with the project managers and in-house architect to discuss projects, goals, and schedules
  • Reviewing employee performance, setting clear and transparent expectations, and holding yourself and others accountable to ensure a culture that is growth-oriented, positive, and welcoming

  • $48-55/hour (roughly $99,840-$114,000 annually) base pay 
  • This position is part of the management team with the potential for annual bonuses
  • Company-issued truck

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week (Mondays-Thursdays 9-hour days; Fridays 4 hour days)

 

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of carpentry experience
  • 5+ years management experience
  • Must be an excellent communicator both oral and written
  • Well-developed computer skills
  • Reliable vehicle and clean driving record
  • Self-motivated and excellent at motivating others
  • Familiarity with Builder Trend and Google Suite a plus
