Little Fisher Creek Restoration

We completed this project under a contract with Skagit County. An existing concrete box culvert over Little Fisher Creek was undersized and failing. It was not allowing enough water through during high flows, which led to flooding on the field upstream. We were brought in to install a 50’ prefabricated steel bridge to replace the failing culvert. To give the property owner necessary access while the work was being completed, we constructed a temporary bridge and access road.

Major Elements: excavation, erosion control, trucking, water diversion and stream bypass, dewatering, culvert assembly, stream channel construction, and temporary road and bridge construction
