Dakota Creek Bridge Replacement

With so many creeks and tributaries in Whatcom and Skagit Counties, residential and farm bridges are common. On this Dakota Creek property, we installed a 60' prefabricated steel girder and concrete panel bridge to replace an old, worn out 40' steel and wood bridge. We relocated power, phone, and water lines and mounted them to the new bridge. To ensure continued access for the property owner, we installed a temporary foot bridge at the start of the project.

Major Elements: excavation, erosion control, trucking, water diversion and stream bypass, dewatering, bridge assembly, stream channel construction, utility relocation
