Special care and consideration need to be taken when working alongside critical areas, such as streams. Our clients had an old foundation that was no longer serving any useful purpose. We demolished and removed that old foundation and sent what we could to be recycled. Our design team then had the fun challenge of working within the existing footprint of that original foundation to design a new garage that would be a nice improvement for the property without creating any new environmental impact within the stream buffer zone. Upon doing so, our civil team performed the site prep before handing construction off to our build team.
