Contemporary Minimalist Remodel

HIGHLINE CONSTRUCTION

The transformative journey of a remodel is always a unique one and the end results often make it hard to envision the space prior to the change. This project exemplifies that point well. The kitchen in this Mid Century home was closed off from the rest of the house, creating a small working space. Our remodeling work focused on turning this tight space into a larger, more practical, and overall more welcoming space.

The client requested an organized, clean, and minimalist design. We worked together to create a mid-century remodel with a large island for prep and an undermount granite sink to accentuate the smooth lines of the countertop. The expanded kitchen area received new quartz counters, cabinets and backsplash. All new appliances help to modernize the space and allow for ample food storage. The new kitchen works well for family gatherings where there’s room for everyone to be involved in cooking a meal together.

In addition to the kitchen, we installed new engineered wide plank white oak floors, giving the home a unified feeling throughout.

We turned the small laundry room access into a cleaner and simpler design, with a low profile barn door leading to the bathroom and laundry room. A new vanity and fixtures give the powder bath a fresh look. All interior finishes were supplied by Highline Interiors.
